Jim Burns - Drums
Born and raised in the Big Apple, Joe has been playing music since the age of 8. From 1975 -2012, Joe worked as a studio musician for RCA and Sigma Sound Studios, located above the iconic Ed Sullivan Theatre, where he recorded hits with Lou Rawls, Gloria Gaynor and many others. He has worked in Las Vegas as a musician for many stage shows, and also has worked for cruise lines like Royal Caribbean, Costa, and Norwegian. He has composed a full scale Broadway Show and is also a highly sought after luthier (guitar technician/craftsman). Stop it, Joe, you're making me tired!
Jim, a native of Baltimore, Md., has lived in Southwest Florida for over ten years. He credits his hometown music scene and teachers for guidance and influence in developing his talents. A performing musician since college, Jim is very active in the Southwest Florida music scene. He is versatile and is comfortable in many styles, including jazz, rock and funk.
Dave Tomkins -Guitar
A veteran of the California music scene, Dave Tomkins (no, there's no "P" in Tomkins), adds a whole new dimension to our band. Extremely versatile, he's at home playing jazz flavors, or blues, or rock, or funk. We feel very fortunate to have him around.
